Terms of Service
Last updated:
1. Acceptance
By using DouShouQi.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
2. The service
DouShouQi.com provides a free online implementation of Dou Shou Qi (Jungle / Animal Chess), including single-player games against the computer, real-time multiplayer, ratings, and leaderboards. We may change or discontinue features at any time.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- One person, one account. Multiple accounts used to manipulate ratings will be removed.
- Choose a username that isn't offensive, impersonating, or misleading.
4. Fair play
The following will result in rating adjustment, suspension, or permanent removal:
- Using an engine, bot, or another person to choose your moves in rated games.
- Deliberately losing, arranging results, or farming rating with a second account.
- Abusing disconnects to avoid a loss.
- Harassment, hate speech, spam, or advertising in chat.
Every move is validated and logged on our server. We review reports against those logs.
5. Content
You keep ownership of anything you upload (such as an avatar), and grant us permission to display it on the site. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to use, or anything obscene or illegal.
6. Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranty. We aim for high uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for lost games, ratings, or data.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site.
